Agency Improves Business Communications with Panasonic Telecommunications Server

They chose and installed the Panasonic KX-NS1000 IP Business Telecommunications server because of its grow-as-you-go flexibility. With a managed switching platform capable of supporting multiple VLANs, WLANs, Power over Ethernet (PoE) and fiber optic backbone network, the KX-NS1000 met all of the agency’s telecommunications needs.

Results:

The KX-NS1000 allowed the company to leverage its existing legacy systems through stacking with a gateway, while maximizing the advantages of an IP system and eliminating the need for expensive paging servers and IP paging solutions. The new system now consists of approximately 60+ IP trunks supporting 80 digital telephones and another 80 IP telephones that includes talk-back, all call and zone paging throughout the office. By combining disparate systems onto one network, Panasonic’s Business Telecommunications Server improved daily communications processes and provided additional features and functionality, allowing the office to expand and easily support up to 14,000 inbound and outbound calls a day.
