Modern-day policing is placing new demands on the way law enforcement professionals interact with critical data – regardless if they’re at the station in a patrol car or on the streets. When Panasonic was designing the next chapter in rugged mobility, we worked closely with first responders to ensure our new 12” 2-in-1 laptop would better equip these extraordinary professionals as their work needs evolved.

Earlier this year we unveiled the Panasonic Toughbook® 33 2-in-1 detachable laptop, confident that law enforcement officers would benefit from its rugged-but-portable design, versatile mounting options, 2-in-1 capabilities and unique 3:2 aspect ratio screen which supports legacy CAD (computer-aided dispatch) applications.

Jen Scott, Public Sector Executive Territory Account Manager – Mobility, has worked closely with first responders for many years and understands just what they’re looking for in mobile technology solutions. She was on hand at the Toughbook 33 launch event at the top of the Freedom Tower in New York City to explain why the next chapter in Toughbook is the perfect solution for today’s law enforcement professional.
